LIVE ART by Anya&Davide is a live painting performance by Polish-Italian artists Anna Truskolaska and Davide Canepa, showcasing dynamic art creation in public for audiences to witness in real time.
After years in Scotland, England and Poland, Anya and Davide recently moved to the beautiful Riviera di Levante in Liguria, Italy. Here, they continue to organise exhibitions and paint live during public events, bringing their unique artistic collaboration directly to audiences in this inspiring coastal region.
Although they both love abstract art, their painting styles are very different, often instinctively depicting two contrasting energies - Yin and Yang, feminine and masculine. The common denominator of their work is the bold use of colour and the fascination with the subconscious.

What is live painting?
Live painting is a dynamic art form where creativity unfolds in real time before an audience. Rather than working behind studio doors, the artist becomes a performer, transforming a blank surface into a finished artwork through spontaneous expression, intuition, and interaction with the environment. With more than 15 years of professional painting experience, our artistic journey has taken us across Europe, with exhibitions in London, Rotterdam, Barcelona, Rome, Genoa, and most recently Poland— Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, and Warsaw. Our paintings found homes in private collections around the world, from the USA and Italy to Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, and Russia.
In 2017, we painted live in front of an audience for the first time - and that’s how LIVE ART by Anya&Davide was born! In 2018 we started working for newlyweds, companies, organizations, galleries - painting live during private and public events all around Poland. What started as a spontaneous desire to bring art closer to people turned into our dream profession.

Davide Canepa is a modern symbolist from Genoa (Italy). He exhibited his works in many European cities and his paintings are part of private collections all over the world.
